10 DAY PROGRAMME - 08 DAYS OF QUAD (1245km) reserved for people used to endurance!
| Day 1 |
Arrival in Agadir, transfer from the airport to Tamghart (13 km north of Agadir). Contact with the team, diner and night. |
| Day 2 |
Transfer to M’ZAR early in the morning (7h00), quad initiation and departure for Fort Bou Gerif. We will go through many villages before reaching the coast. We will ride alongside of the natural reserve of Souss Massa passing through Tifnit on the sand dunes, Sidi Moussa d’Aglou, Mirleft, Sidi Ifni, where we will attack the mountain to finally reach Fort Bou Gerif for the bivouac +/- 210 km. |
| Day 3 |
Early in the morning, we will leave the bivouac to reach Guelmin, at the border of the desert we will stock up on fuel since there is no other gas station before Tafraout. We will ride for approximately 30 Km on small mountain paths before reaching the track that will lead us to the mouth hill of the Kerdous at 1100 m of altitude. Crossing of the dry oueds, the mouth hill passage, all are great sceneries. After the arrival at the Kerdous hotel in the afternoon, a hot shower will be a well earned treat. +/- 230 km. |
| Day 4 |
Departure from the Kerdous around 8h00 to join Tafraout passing through Taguenza. We will see the “hat of Napléon (assembly of rocks which resemble the hat) From there we will head towards Ait Abdallah then Iguerm where the “great south” begins. We will reach Tata in the late afternoon , night at the hotel Relais des Sables. |
| Day 5 |
Wake up call at 6h00! Yes we’re not laughing anymore! 6h30 breakfast, settling all your personal belongings on the quads and departure for FOUM ZGUID, we will take the road at 36km from Tata from there we will go through various villages and oasis where even with the dryness of the area, there is a mystical sort of beauty that cannot be missed. We will ride alongside the JBEL BANI. Pic Nic on the track under gorgeous palm trees, arrival at FOUM ZGID in the late afternoon, evening meal and night at the hostel IRIKI (a hot shower will make everyone happy) +/- 180 km. |
| Day 6 |
Wake up at 6h00. Breakfast and departure for a long stage of 185 km of a track which is used by the Paris Dakar between FOUM ZGID and ZAGORA, the different sceneries will astonish you , palm groves, oueds, picnic on the track we will reach ZAGORA and then AIT ISFOUL where the bivouac will be waiting for us as well as the traditional Moroccan dromedary tagine . Night under nomad tent (cold shower more the brave ones) +/- 185 km. |
| Day 7 |
Wake up at 6h00 (yes I know I repeat myself) breakfast and departure for a long stage of 235 km from AIT ISFOUL we will reach MHAMID from where we will take the tack of the dry IRIKI lake where we will take a few shagagas dunes. From there we will turn around to join the path where we will ride freely for many kilometre in the immensity of the dried up lake IRIKI (grandiose). Arrival in FOUM ZGID at the hostel IRIKI (hot shower), well earned night , but it’s not over yet. +/- 120 km . |
| Day 8 |
Breakfast at 6h30 ( I changed the wording around but you still get up at 6h00) TATA KERDOUS going through TIMGICHTE , small day of 120 km. Night at hotel KERDOUS. |
| Day 9 |
Transfer to Agadir by mini bus, arrival at the villa Argane in the afternoon. |
| Day 10 |
It’s over, time to go back home!!!!!!! Transfer to the airport. |

To bring along : A sleeping bag, a helmet, professional sunglasses (ski type sunglasses), gloves, boots or good walking shoes, back pack for personal belongings, small personal first aid kit (Immodium, aspirine..), a small pocket knife, a flash light, a small flask, a small bag to put you rubbish in, sun crème, sweater for the night, jacket for the wind.
